daycare recs in west county?
Any recommendations for daycare or in home daycare in west county? Im beginning to get desperate. I just visited a local kindercare and it was $270 for a full week! TIA.

I really doubt you are going to find a daycare center in West County less than $270. When I was calling around before my son was born they were all $260 and up. We started out at West County Day School (at Olive and 40 next to Schnuck's), it was $265/week when we started but was going up to $285/week. We got in to St. John's co-worker children's center, it's less expensive but you have to be a St. John's employee to go there.
As for West County Day School - they were nice enough but I felt like the infant teachers we had were just there for a paycheck, it was just a job to them (with the exception of one). I had a hard time dropping my son off the first day and there was no compassion or empathy, I just stood there and cried and not a single employee came to comfort me! That set the tone for me! I LOVE LOVE LOVE St. John's! They are fabulous!
