Re: plants!!
Visit my blog about my family's experiments in eco-living
I do love my spider plants because they thrive on abuse. I water everything once a week, but the spiderplants always grow very well and seem to enjoy never being repotted.
I also have an anthurium (not recommended, really easy to kill and it won't ever flower for me), christmas cactus (okay, but probably not much of an air purifier), and a giant tropical thing that looks like a corn plant my sister left me 7 years ago when she skipped the country.
Ask around work. If anyone mentioned wanting houseplants, I could start a spiderplant in about a week with really minimal effort.
found a link for you... her blog has a list of toxic and nontoxic plants.
