Need food ideas for 4 yr old's Cars Birthday Party...

Ok, so my son's b-day party is this weekend and I haven't put much thought into it because we just moved into our new construction home on Thursday. Can you ladies please help me out?

It's a Cars theme.

In the past, I've served Ribs, Nacho bar, Meatball bombers, and Pizza.

I'd like to be cute/creative with his Cars theme and "name" the foods after the cars but I can come up with that on my own...right now I just need menu ideas.

We'll have 12 adults and 10 kids--oldest is 7 years old.

  • A different take on pizza that could EASILY be turned into a car-type thing...

Go to the store and buy the Pillsbury refrigerated pizza dough. When unrolled, it should be rectangular in shape. Leave it this way and don't stretch it out too much.

There are two ways to do it from here:

Add cheese and pepperoni without any sauce

or add sauce with the pepperoni.

I prefer to skip the sauce, do a layer of pepperonis, a layer of cheese and another layer of pepperonis. Roll the dough back up like you would a pumpkin roll, and then stick it in the oven according to the directions. You will want to add around 5-10 minutes to get the dough cooked all the way through.

You could always brush it with melted butter a few minutes before you take it out to make it golden brown on the outside.

Take it out, slice it up like you would a pumpkin roll. Warm up some sauce for dipping.

It should look like this, and you could take four slices and put them around the roll like wheels for presentation.

This one was flattened by my friend that cut it up. It's usually a little more rounded.

LOL- That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure. What about these for possible food names?

    "Chick Hicks' Chicken Strips

You have to do something with "Tow Mater" even if you just say that pizza has "Tow Mater Sauce"-

    "Ka-chow Nacho Bar"

    "Lightening McQueen Salad Greens"

    "Radiator Springs Ribs"
