Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Just got a position on the standards committee at my local co-op!
YAY! I'm so excited and I wanted to share with some people who actually...well..."get it". Here's what I'll be doing
"This committee has one of the most important tasks in establishing the reputation of the coop and of continuing its success. Members of this committee ensure that products sold through the coop are licit for sale under the producer operating procedures. They are charged with fielding new producer requests to join the coop and checking to see that their operating practices comply with the standards set by the coop, doing occasional inspections of member farms, and working under the direction of the BOD to insure compliance with Board of Health and other applicable regulations."
I'm just thrilled to be involved on more than a consumer basis and hopeful I can help to grow the coop and the movement!
