I went to victorias secret and was happy but since they have so many different styles my size changed. Plus you never know if you get a newbie or not.
There is a place that a lot of the girls recommend on the babies board. I can't remember the name but I was going to go when I get farther along being pg to actually get fitted.
EAT: Petticoat fair as the PP mentioned is the place I was talking about.
I have had one done at Petticoat Fair and it was a great experience. I had been wearing the wrong size before and wearing the right size made a big difference. It might be best to make an appointment there. Another thing that I really like about the store is that you can tell them your price range and they will bring bras in your size to you. I think they have great customer service and as a bonus, Nestie Emer works there.
I would definitely go there over Victoria's Secret or any other mall-type bra retailer. I had a friend get one done at VS and the 16 year old girl who worked there was fumbling with a tape measure and told her a REALLY wrong size (i.e. that she was a B-cup instead of a DD). When I worked at a Gap Body, they had some kind of method for doing it that was nothing short of moronic as well as embarrassing and completely inaccurate (and did not work for anyone above 36D). I (mentally) refused to do the fittings and would send people to Petticoat Fair.
i tried petticoat fair, but i wasn't really happy when i got home. although i wasn't spilling out of the bra cup anymore, the underwire came up nearly to my armpit and i felt like i couldn't move my arms across my body without the straps blocking movement. since then, i just tried a bunch of different sizes on my own and now have a drawer with 3 different sizes.
who knew shopping for bras was this difficult?
maybe ask for EMER and let her fit you? I dunno...

Hmmm, did you get to try on a lot of styles while there? I am busty and have definitely had that underwire-in-the-armpit problem. For me, it was a question of finding one or two styles that work well for me and buying a bunch of them. It required a ton of trying on, though. Maybe you can take back the bras from PF? I don't remember their return policy. GL! I know what a headache (and backache) this can be.
i think i ran out of patience that time i was there (this was a few months back). i really don't enjoy shopping, so standing in a dressing room trying on 15 different bras with someone outside the curtain asking how they worked was on the border of my comfort level. haha.
I had a good experience at Soma in Barton Creek. it is owned by Chicos, and they are included in their points program. I was pleasantly surprised, and found several bras that fit well and are very comfortable. One of their lines is machine wash and dry!
Love the bra dept at Nordstrom, too. Very low-key sales people, fit was good.
Good luck!
