recycling old cell phones?
Does anyone have a good resource to do this? I tried taking them into my provider's store and they don't accept them because they had a couple of instances where ppl changed their mind and wanted their old phones back. wtf?
Anyway, the two that I have don't work.. so I know that narrows my options.

Re: recycling old cell phones?
I just googled and found this:

You can donate it to a local women's shelter. Be sure to donate the charger, also (and accessories, if desired). If you mail it in (like to Petco), then you can include the charger and i think they refurbish/sell them or part them out as appropriate (not sure, though).

Since they don't work, Whole Foods recycles them, there's a bin right by the front door.
