1/26 - into the wild

Imagine you were thrown into the wilderness to survive with only the clothes on your back.  What ONE item would you take with you to help you survive?  There is no cell phone signal in this particular wilderness.

And you cannot say "A backpack full of..."  You get ONE item.

I'd have to say DH. I can't stand being in the wilderness and bugs eat me alive. I would be freaking out lol. He would keep me calm and lead us to safety.

I would take a Swiss Army Knife.  My DH is directionally challenged, and he would just be another mouth to feed :-P

I was going to say a leatherman, which is similar to a Swiss Army knife. If I couldn't have that then maybe a lighter.

I guess a Flint (I think that's what it is called. It's always the first thing the Survivors play for when they play reward challenges and it's so they can start fires) so I could start a fire.  I'd love to have a lighter, but I'm thinking I'd run out of lighter fluid. Although I'm hoping to be out of the wilderness before I run out of lighter fluid.

Oh and just for fun I wouldn't mind being stranded with Sawyer from LOST.  That would make the wilderness mighty pleasant.

I don't watch Lost, but I thought I knew who Sawyer was. I thought it was this guy... I sat here and scratched my head at your comment for way too long before googling to see who was who. I'm glad I had them confused.

LOL!  Uh yeah there is quite a difference between Hurley (above guy) and Sawyer.  I wouldn't mind Hurley- since he is kind of cool.   Just Sawyer is nice to look at.
