Business Cocktail Hour

Hi Everyone,

My office is hosting a Business After Hours through our local Business Council. Basically members of the business community visit your office for snacks and beverages, tour your facility and there are prizes given away. It is held on a Monday evening, from 5:30-7:30. The average attendance is 100 people.

We are having the food catered - but are purchasing our own beverages (don't worry, we hired a bartender)..

I am using the drink estimators online, but because it is a different type of event, I am not sure that they are accurate. My question is how much of the following do you think we should purchase?

Soda (cans)

Water (bottles)

Beer (bottles)

Wine (bottles)

Hot Cider (gallons)

Thanks for your help! :)

Re: Business Cocktail Hour

  • These would be my guesses.  No real calculations, just a hunch.  GL!

    imagejune08..can't wait!:

    Water (bottles)..... 100

    Beer (bottles) ...... 200

    Wine (bottles) ......25

Hot Cider (gallons) ..... 5 (I'm from Florida though)

    Thanks for your help! :)

  • Thanks! That helps. I talked with our caterer, and his numbers were fairly close to yours. :)
