XP from Boston Bump - Essex County OBGYN
Hi Ladies...
Anyone go to this practice? If so, can you recommend a doc there?
We are thinking of TTC in spring, but since going off the pill in Nov, I still have not had a period...I'm thinking I should set up an appt now.
We live in Reading and I think Beverly Hospital sounds like a good fit - I'd much rather go with a birthing center when the time comes and I like that they have one right there.
Any thoughts?
Re: XP from Boston Bump - Essex County OBGYN
Hi- I am not in your area so I can't recommend a OBGYN, but FWIW my BFF was an RN at Beverly and had she not moved during her pregnancy she still would have chosen not to deliver there. She really did not like the hospital overall. While she was in her 1st and 2nd tri she saw an OBGYN affiliated with Salem hospital because she said even though it was much further it was a better facility.
With you being in Reading is Winchester an option? I have heard really good things about their maternity.
Good to know! I have heard good things about Winchester too. What I like about Beverly is the birthing center option. But I will probably look at both...do you happen to know any good OBs affiliated with Winchester? (or maybe you know someone that does?)?
Thanks for replying! I'm glad to hear a positive review of them...I might try to set up an appt with Dr Chuderewicz (any clue how THAT is pronounced?) and see what they say...I would like to go with a midwife too when the time comes, assuming everything is normal and low risk. Are you planning to deliver at the birthing center or at the hospital?
Sorry, I can't help with the pronunciation.
I'm currently planning on delivering at the hospital. I havn't been over for my tour yet but have a bunch of friends and co-workers who had nothing but positive comments about their experience there.
