Homemade dishwasher detergent

Does anyone have a recipe that works well? I tried one but I found that my dishes were still dirty and stained. Thanks!

  • I have heard that if you put citric acid or vinegar in the "rinsing agent" compartment it will help withthe cloudyness.

I just put a bunch of vinegar in the 'rinsing agent' (thanks River Pestie... I didn't know what it was called) and it works.
