S/O people dropping baby "hints"
My parents still do stockings for every kid/grandkid no matter what age on Christmas day.
In my stocking this year (along with other stuff) was a miniature stocking. You know - just in case. Or for next year.
Also, between them there are 6 siblings, 3 sons-in-law, and 7 grandkids already. So the mantle is definately full of stockings already. (18 stockings yo) It was also mentioned that if need be a longer/larger mantle could be arranged.
I know it was coming from a good place, because most of the family are really close. They obviously enjoy being grandparents.
We are TTC, but we haven't told anyone yet...

Re: S/O people dropping baby "hints"
I do appreciate them doing that, don't get me wrong. The part I meant about dropping hints was putting a small stocking in mine for the wishful thinking/non-existant baby?
FTR I just laughed it off in front of everyone.
You don't still think it's cool??
When we were dating my now H threw it away. He did it jokingly while making fun of it. I meant to go and get it out and forgot, lol. I wish I still had it I could sell it to one of those places that buy gold or something.
Yeah, I wouldn't put an extra stocking in. My H might though he sure wants a grandson.
