My sister's baby daddy

went back to rehab this morning, according to my mom. We'll see how it goes this time.

Re: My sister's baby daddy

  • How many times has he gone in the past?
  • He was there in the summer for about 3 months, and got kicked out of the program supposedly because he missed his curfew getting back when night when he was out on leave.  Other than that, before he got together with my sister, I have no idea if he'd gone before.

  • Huh...Well good luck to him. Has your sister indicated a desire to seek her own counseling?  Now would be a good time, since he's away and all and she can have a clearer head about everything.
  • She hasn't brought up anything like that with me, but I'm going to call her tonight when I get home and see if I can feel out where exactly she is mentally/emotionally this time.

  • Good luck.  I have two sisters. Neither have been in as dire a situation as yours, but I can relate on how hard it can be to suggest/offer/tell/etc. them to do anything in these types of situations.
  • Thanks =)  I've had my own battles with addiction, so I think if I can actually get her to open up to me and not just go auto-defensive, then I might be able to help her a bit.
