Bridal Shower Bingo

I am helping for a friend's shower and have been put in charge of bridal bingo.  We had it at my bridal shower and the bingo cards had items from my registry already on the card (and all the cards were different of course).  I know some people also do it where the card is blank and guests write it what they think she will get.  Which way is best or do you prefer?  Also, as far as what to use for the bingo markers, at my shower they used hershey kisses.  What has anyone else used or seen at showers?  I am trying to gather ideas to see what works best rather than just doing exactly what was my shower, even though it worked great.  Actually now that I am thinking of it, I can get hershey kisses from V-Day since her color is red.  Finally, what about prizes?  I think $5 per prize is good - or is that too much or too little?  I was thinking either a bath type of item from Bath & Body Works or possibly a bottle of wine.  A local place has a pretty good wine that has a special of 3 for $15.  TIA for your input/suggestions!

Re: Bridal Shower Bingo

  • At my shower the cards had items written from my registry.  I think that works best than having people write what they think.  You may get too many winners that way with the typical diapers, bibs, etc.  For markers we just used pens and marked it off the cards.

For prizes bath and body works gift sets were given out and $25 restaurant gift cards.

I think wine and bath and body works like you mentioned is nice.

    Ditto on cards.

I once went to a shower were M&Ms were used during Bingo.

I think $5 wine bottle is a nice prize, if you're going to have several winners.  If it's one big prize, I would do something a little bigger.  Maybe wine in a basket with a nice wine accessory.

Something I recently did for wine prizes at a shower was hang some nice chocolates around the bottle with ribbon and I made super simple labels that looked like the invite but said "winner" on them.  They'll make for a nice display when folks walk into the shower.

  • Ay my shower my aunt had everyone fill in cards with what they thought I'd say when opened my gifts.  Hereshey kisses were used for the markers.

  • At my cousin's bridal shower we played bingo and the cards were already made with things on there like bride, groom, wedding dress, engagement ring.  We used M&M's for markers.  Her prizes were candles from our local candle shop.  I am using bath items from Bath & Body Works as prizes for a friends shower next week.
