I read your computer help post below. Is computer #1 connected to the internet by a wire or is it wireless?

You probably need a wireless router and a wireless USB adapter for PC #2. The router gets connected to your cable modem and the adapter plugs into an available USB port on PC #2. Both the router and adaptor come with software to recognize each other.
Go to Best Buy or other electronics store with the make and model of your modem. They will be able to advise you on the best match for a router and adapter.
