Greg just got a message from his friend, B.  His wife came home last Tuesday and said "I'm leaving."

Her reason?  "I'm not happy."  That's it.  Not "I'm not happy and am not sure this is right for me/us."  Just "I'm leaving because I'm not happy."

Poor guy. Sad  He told Greg he was pretty blindsided by it (understandably).  He's out of town until Saturday for business; then they get to start figuring out to split everything and custody of their son. Sad

    Wow.  She won't even consider counseling or trying to work it out?  That's horrible.

    That's a shame.  What makes it so weird is that she doesn't even want to try and work on the marriage.  Is it possible there is someone else and she wanted to end the marriage before starting a relationship?

    Not sure...time will tell, I guess.  I didn't think she'd be like that, though, but I agree - it just seems kind of fishy!

    Wow, poor guy. I wonder if there were signs she wasn't happy and he chose to ignore them. If she stills wants to try to work on the marriage she should definately do some counseling both alone and with her husband, especially if there is a child involved
