Recommend your photobooks

HeyHey!  Slow day today. :-)  I have been stalking other boards and there is quite a bit of drama!  I hate living drama, but I love reading it. hehehe.

Anyways, please let me know your experience with the different photo book companies. (My Publisher, Shutterfly, etc)  I am scouting which one I want to use, but it is nearly impossible to tell quality without touching or hearing opinions.  Thanks Ladies!

Re: Recommend your photobooks

  • I've used Shutterfly several times and was always happy with the quality.

    Me too.

  • I know you've heard me talk about it before, but I cannot say enough nice things about Blurb. You have total control of how you want the page laid out, you can use any font on your computer & the paper quality is better than Shutterfly. If you're using it for wedding photos, the small price difference is definitely worth it.

Hell, I'll come over & help you with the layout if you want Stick out tongue

  • I made a bunch for xmas gifts....my favorite were from MyPublisher, I thought Blur was pretty good too but MyPublisher's quality was a bit better as far as page thickness and picture clarity.
  • We used My Publisher to make several books and have been really happy with them.  GL!
  • We used MyPublisher to make our wedding album & albums for family, & we were really happy with the quality.

  • I used Blurb to make our wedding albums for our families.  I really liked it.  You have a lot of flexibility with layout and it is reasonably priced.
  • Thanks girls!  I shall be checking them out!

and Jessica, if you want to house stalk me, you know you are always welcome, no need for an excuse. hahhaha

  • I made photobooks for DH's family with MyPublisher and was very pleased. The people we gave them to LOVED them. The pages were fairly thick and good quality, the pics were pretty clear, etc. They look like coffee table books with dust jackets that we were able to put quotes and little pictures on the inside flaps. I did a buy one get one free special. The two they sent me had small printing errors that were their fault, but they replaced them for me for free with free overnight shipping.
