I saw it was briefly mentioned below, but I wish Lifetime had done more about the smoking and drinking. I don't know how closely they followed the IRL story, as I only remember it happening and not the actual details, but I feel like they should have made it more horrific or something. Like show the consequences of the girls smoking/drinking.
Also, IRL, weren't some of the girls having sex with homeless men to get KU? Am I making that up? I told DH that and he didn't believe me.
Re: Re: The Pregnancy Pact
I didn't really read it, but maybe this will have some info.

I remember hearing that also.
Yes, and that was my favorite part of the story. In reality, I think it was one girl whose older boyfriend was sleeping on a couch somewhere, but I prefer to think of them luring panhandlers down dark alleys to have their way with them.
I just a friendly gal looking for options.
But what are the consequences? My mom smoked 2 packs a day with me, while pg and while bfing. Aside from my intense love of cigarettes, I've always been healthy - no asthma, no low birthweight, nada.
And yeah, drinking can cause FAS, but only sometimes. They aren't really sure why some people can drink and have healthy kids, and some drink and have FAS kids.
So really, why are they going to show things that may or may not actually happen? It's not like this is an educational film.
