Running groups in the east valley?

I've tried to google, but most "groups" are companies who charge to train. I'm looking more for a group to run w/& get helpful advice along the way. I'm not looking for a personal trainer.

Any recs?

I don't have any rec's but I'd love to do something like a Bootcamp. If you hear of anything, please share!!

I'd also love to do classes like kickboxing or something but not at a gym where you have to a member....u know of any?

A friend of mine belongs to a running club.  She lives in Chandler, so I imagine the club is based in the EV.  I'll check with her and let you know.

I actually do know of a bootcamp, http://www.bootcampbabesaz.com/. A friend of mine is a memeber, PM if you would like her name as a referral. I think you get a % off if you end up joining. Otherwise, I have a coupon for $40 off if you want it. I think you still have to give a referral. I've been to my free class & it is a GREAT workout. On top of that, it's a friendly environment & everyone goes at their own pace. I've yet to sign up because it's a tad pricey.

Oh man, sounds fun but with $40 off, it's got to be crazy expensive...hmmm.

I know right? The cost depends on how many times a week you attend. I looked into 3 days & it was $200. Insider scoop, if you sign up for 3 months you get 15% off.

If you find a kickboxing class let me know. I use to go all the time before getting pregnant. I haven't found a class that's outside a gym. It was so much fun, I miss it!

I will def. let you know and if you find one, let me know! lol I took a class back in NY and it wasn't at a gym and super cheap! I LOVED IT!!
