Can anyone recommend a scanner that scans really, really fast? Looking to scan a ton of old pictures and i'll smash mine with a bat if I even try
Can be scanner only, all-in-one or portable.
.
Re: Scanner recommendations?
I assume it has to be reasonably priced?
Because over in our IT area, we have one that's an HP that RAWKS. But I know it's super-de-duper expensive. (but I stick a stack of slides in, click "OK" and it does it. wallah. Haven't used it for photos but everyone says it works for that too)
I can try to find out what it is later this week but I"m pretty sure it's over $500...
Yeah $500 is more than I was thinking. It won't be used for business purposes or mass scanning. Although there are a lot of old pics we want to get scanned and backed up, I don't want to spend that kind of cash. Once those pics are done the scanner won't be of much use.
I guess a price under 1-200?
I have an HP Deskjet F4435 printer/scanner/copier. I got it for $39.99 from Target about 6 weeks ago.
I've been using it to scan old photos. It is quick and the quality is much better than I expected for something so cheap.
The printer is pretty good, too.
