We just got a call from our mortgage lender.  The house is going up for auction on Monday!!   I kid you not.  Since she did not get the extension the bank is following through on what they had said (unbeknowst to us) that if we didnt close on the 8th that the house would go to auction on Monday.  I need all the nest dust you have.

Most auctions need a $5k down payment.  We dont have that, plus auctions can take months to go through.  We only have til the 31st.   I am just praying that the evil *** can get the auction cancelled.

Stephi.. we are under contract but the house isnt ours yet.  It has been a nightmare so far but yeah you pretty much have the gist.  She messed up, lied, then told us the wonderful news that after all this..we may still not get the house. 

As for the work.  The house needs about 15K worth of our sweat equity.  We are fine with that.  What we are not fine with is that to get this to go through it needs some work prior to close and my realtor did not think it was wise for us to put money into a house that we didnt own and the Listing agent was being a dumb biatch and wouldnt work with us.  now we are in this mess!

OMG What a nightmare! DH and I are currently in the market and it is so stressful and complicated. We just lost a bid on a house last week, so it's back to the drawing board for us. Truckloads of ::please get us into our forever home:: dust to you and all the house-buying nesties!!

Aww Kim!! I am so sorry to read this.  I apoligize for not replying sooner, but this is complete BS!! I hope that SOMETHING is worked out before the house is set to go to Auction.  I cant even imagine what you and your family are going thru.  I've got TONS of house dust coming your way!! I'll give you every bit of it that I have!!!!   Keep your chin up, honey!   Im 100% sure, things will work out the way they are supposed too.  And if they dont, i'll go find the listing agent and me and my 9month pregnant butt will have a few words with her!!!!    LoL!!
