Any good preschools in the Orlando area?
My toddler's wonderful preschool teacher left her center, and
her replacement is horrible. I am desperately trying to find a new
preschool, but it is much harder than expected! I have visited quite a
few, and most of them are very disappointing (dirty, teachers who
barely speak English, unorganized classroom, poor curriculum, etc...).
Are you happy with the preschool you child is attending? I am in the
Waterford Lakes area but I am willing to drive far if necessary.
Thank you!
Re: Any good preschools in the Orlando area?
I don't personally have any experience with preschools but I have a friend that loves the one her daughter goes to. It's over in Winter Springs...Willow Creek Church. There is also one right next to it called Community Alliance Church. She had her daughter in both of those and was very happy with them. I know that's probably too far of a drive from Waterford though.
Good luck with your search, I know how frustrating that can be.
I love my daughter's school. She goes to Double R Private School in Chuluota. They start at age 2 and go through 8th grade. My DD has been there since she was 3 and is in Kindergarten now.
I have a friend who's DD is 4 and has her at Discovery Zone on Alafaya. She's very happy with them too.
I have been very happy with Ladybird Academy. It's a daycare, but they have a great curriculum. My 2.5 year old actually comes home with homework.
We use the one in Lake Forest, but I think they just opened one in Avalon Park--my infant daughter's teacher (whom I love) is going to be transferring to that school.
I'm glad to hear this, they are building one near me.
