Woot! I love raise time!
I got a raise today, woooohoo! It was much bigger than I expected and I'm super stoked! Of course, it will all be going to savings, but doesn't make it any less exciting 
It's nice to have your hard work rewarded!

Congrats...I am sure it as well deserved!!! You can treat yourself with a little something at least with the first paycheck with the extra $$
and then savings!

Eli, that's awesome! We are suppose to have reviews this month,but my boss is slacking. Last yr there wasn't any raises, and I smell that this yr either. I've been working here for almost 2 yrs now.
One of the reasons I left my previous employer was b/c I went 2 yrs w/out a raise...

I've been eyeing a few Michael Kors beauties!
And I feel all of you who are stuck in the freeze. I hadn't gotten a raise in two years either - our company froze raises and this is the first year we got them again, which is probably why it was significant. I'm so so thankful.

congrats, eli!! they have been promising DH his raise for a YEAR now, and now he's due for another one and he hasn't gotten it! Hopefully they'll give him a year of retro raises like they promised, but we're not holding our breaht :-/
