Moving to NW Indiana Spring/Summer 10
Starting to look at Monticello / Wolcott area. Can anyone tell me about those areas. I know nothing. My DH is from Anderson, so we would be moving back to his home state, I am from MA. This would be the first time I would be moving away from home. BIG CHANGE FOR ME. We also have a 1 yr old. Possibly looking for daycare as well, and maybe a part time job for me. HELP

Hi! I actually grew up about 15minutes from Wolcott & 40 mins from Monticello. I live in Lafayette now which is 30mins from Wolcott & 45 from Monticello. Wolcott is very small town & Monticello definitely has more (walmart, restaurants, Indiana Beach ect). If you dont mind me asking why exactly would you be moving to Wolcott/Monticello?? I am from these areas so I have a lot of info:)
We are looking into this area, because my husband needs to be between Chicago and Indy. And, in looking at houses (prices) it seems to him a good area to look at. I would appreciate any info you can provide. My DH went to school at Purde so he is very familiar with Lafayette area.

My husband is a field service engineer and his company is expanding and he wanted to move back to the midwest. He compromised with his boss for in between Chicago and Indy.
