If it weren't practically a nonsense word to begin with, it is now. Oh, EK, how much weirder can you get?
Re: Yurts, y'all.
I love yurts. For vacation.
We went here for part of our honeymoon: http://www.treebonesresort.com/
And the folks that own it live on site. Yes, in a yurt, but a hell of a lot different then the yurt EK is thinking.
inregurdless, it will be a filthy yurt.
I totally want to go there now Jojo. That and this place http://www.elcapitancanyon.com/
But, yeah, for a vacation. Or maybe even a temporary one as a vacation type home thing, for camping purposes, but not for all the time. Does a dirty crockpot even fit in there? How will she malnourish her family?
L, I LOVE it up there. My husband loves it for the do it yourself waffles in the morning for breakfast too. It is incredibly peaceful. No emails, cells phones, tv, nothing. It leads to a lot of bcbc actually.
I want to go back later this year after graduation, I need the break from everything.
PEOPLE. the topic at hand is ek and her yurt love. please stay on topic.
this is like the tiny house and mobile home issue -- does she not realize that she will need electricity and running water?
i swear, she should just apply to be on "1600 house" and just live in the lap of luxury there.
She doesn't think these things through at all. She is enamored with the idea of packing up and moving in a 24 period. Sure, the yurt can do that, but even the one I stayed in had a sink, running water and electric lights. the amount of light that can get in during the day is decent depending on tree overhang, etc.
Andplusalso somehow she is going to home school her bevy of snot nosed rug rats by candle light when necessary? I doubt. Although she would likely be a fabulous martyr for the cause of prairie like living.
Oh, come on, they don't need space!
She seems to think they're stackable.
