with a puppy named Bess
She's half lab and half rott. It's too bad FI hates dogs, or I'd be stopping by the shelter tonight to pick her up and change her name. Look at those paws!

I actually like the name Bess. And I love her speckled paw.
I don't mind Bess, it just reminds me of a woman I used to sit with and listen to her same stories over and over again. And I would forever picture Bess and think of the white-haired lady who married her cousin because "back then you didn't have many choices."
