Recommend your bedding

I'm looking to upgrade our bedding.  I want to buy a down alternative comforter, new duvet and linens and accessories.

If there is a brand you really love, let me know.

I love! Raymond Waites sheets, but not sure where to find them now that LNT is gone.  Maybe online?  But they are the best quality, softness, etc. I've found.

I don't have a specific rec, but Macy's is having a white sale right now. I also remember The Knot having a good article on what to look for in a down (and down alt. probably) comforter, but that was years ago. You might want to look for it though. Have fun..getting that stuff sounds nice!

Our duvet cover and shams and throw pillow are the organic cotton pintucked from west elm (the sea spray color which is a little more green than it looks on the website).  LOVE them.  I love that they're supposed to look natural and a little wrinkled because I have zero interest in maintaining perfectly pressed bedding.  Plus the pintucking makes it look nice and fluffy and gives a lot of texture even though our room is pretty monochromatic.

I usually shop TJMaxx and Marshalls for linens and comforters, or Macy's one day sales.

I also suggest checking out TJ Maxx. They don't always have many duvet covers, but they do have some nice quilts and shams, etc.

I love love love The Hotel Collection for bedding.  I buy it at Macy's.  I'm currently shopping around for something for our guest bedroom - but haven't saved enough pennies yet.

I love, love, love our Duvet cover from Pottery Barn - we got it as a wedding gift. The embroidery is so beautiful!
