Hi Ladies
I have been on thenest for a while now but I have never checked out this portion of it. I think it is pretty cool that you can post things and communicate with people in your area. I am currently in the middle of planning my wedding and my fiance and I so super excited! I want to intorduce my self to the board and I look forward to getting to know you all better. I am originally from California, but my fiance is born and raised in Peoria. I have been out here for going on 4 years now. I live out in Surprise and we love it here, we are pretty close to our families which is awesome.

In case you're not familar, TheKnot.com also has a message board system- which allows you to contact other brides in the Phoenix area as well if you want to talk with individuals also currently planning a wedding

If you click on the main page for the nest, you will see something on the top left that says create countdown ticker. Click there and it will walk you through setting it up. Once you are done copy the HTML code (it's a long nonsense code) and paste it in your profile under signature and save it. If you have any problems just let us know

Thank you, so far i am having the time of my life! I am doing a lot by my self, like making the centerpieces and the bridesmaid bouquets. I guess you could say I am a DIY Bride. lol any who, glad to see a few people from Surpise on here. My co-workers always make fun of me for living so "far" away from work. I work in downtown phoenix! but i love it out here. it has grown so much. I look forward to getting to know you better

Welcome!! Im out in Surprise too!! I love it out here. My husband works in downtown Phoenix too but the commute is nothing compaired to the 90 minutes each way he had when we lived in Boston, haha!
We'll have to have another get together. Im always looking for new friends and if they are in the same town as me, that is great too, haha!
