#1 Where can I get a good sports bra? My girls aren't that big so I've been wearing a regular bra but I'd really like some extra support.
#2 Can you recommend a weight lifting dvd or book? I don't like doing weights at the gym but I know it's important I do them. So I thought if I could do them at home that would make it easier.
#3 Help me with calories in vs. calories out. I get like 1300 something calories a day (to lose 2lbs a week). I eat about 1200 of them so that leaves me with 100 calories left for my day. But then I go to the gym and like today I burned 300 calories while I was there. So for the past three days I have had a calorie defecit of almost 400 calories.
I know if I don't get enough calories my body will think it's starving and hold onto all my lovely fat.
Is this the same thing? I don't think I can eat 400 more calories worth of food! I'm eating every 3 hours and I'm not hungry.
Re: Some health and fitness questions
#1 Where can I get a good sports bra? Target's C9 sports bra line is excellent! I'm considered a B in plus size, so I don't have big gals either. They have them in store too..in lots of pretty colors!
#2 Can you recommend a weight lifting dvd or book? I like Jillian Michael's Shred, but that's more for using weights to tone muscles. If you are looking to really lift, I've read about this book on the H&F board. I'm not that hardcore haha!
#3 I would say you might have to force yourself to eat a few of those calories. I've hit the plateau (body thinks you starve yourself) mode and it lasted for weeks...this was when I was losing for the wedding. I was on W/W at the time and the leader told me to have more protein in my bfast as an increase of calories and that helped a LOT! Eggs ROCK!
