OMG!
I've been having such a nasty time at work lately...besides CW drama that's been going on since my first day (and before b/c I worked w/her the last time I worked for this company) it's just been crazy, 11-12 hr days for the past couple of weeks...very high stress, crisis mode stuff.
Anyway, I told Mike this afternoon that I need a beach vacation, just something where we can lie on a beach for a few days. We already have the week of our anni off, so BOOM - Mexico, here I come! I really didn't expect him to go for it, considering all the stuff we want to do to the house and the fact that we're also going to Chicago in October.
We're going to the Excellence Playa Mujeres 5/15-5/20. Even though I said I'd never do another all inclusive, I am in dire need of this!

I'm not looking forward to the 65+ hour work weeks that will beginning shortly. This is the last week before required hours kick in and we start this Saturday. I'm sure come March 15th, I will be wishing I was going somewhere nice and warm and relazing.
FUN! That should be a nice relaxing trip.
We stayed at Excellence in Punta Cana during our honeymoon. It's a great resort...if they offer a private dinner on the beach there, do it. It was one of the best meals I've had in my life and was a wonderful and romantic night.
Excellence Punta Cana was actually our first choice, but all the flights between Punta Cana and Albuquerque sucked...they all had overnight connections in Miami. I think we're going to save it for next year or the year after when we can go for longer and just stay a day or two in Miami.

Well, when you do decide to go to Punta Cana, look into the Paradisus too. We stayed there our second week of the HM and actually preferred it over Excellence. Excellence was really nice though!
