I'm making a shutterfly book of 6let's first year. For real, this kid is not going to know what I looked like when he was young. There are maybe 5 decent shots of me. I have more pics of MIL!
Guess what's not going to continue to happen.

Meh...It happens. There's not too many pics of my sis and nephew in his first year because she was behind the camera so often. It did get better between 1 and 2.
I also want to say that I love my photo software. It lets you look at pictures in "calender view." I don't have to remember when I took a picture!
DH and I have been trying to take turns behind the camera at special events. For example, he took pictures/video taped Eva's birthday while I helped her unwrapp gifts. And then we switched for Christmas.
That's why I love iPhoto.
We have THOUSANDS of pictures of Autumn from 0-2-3. The last 2 years we have been very slack on the picture taking.
I, too, have become the family photog at events. Once I get there everyone always says Oh since you're here now can I just get copies of yours? Yours are better anyway. And I usually forget to get a picture with H.
I don't think I have a single pic of me with DB2 since the hospital. He's 2 months old.
I should talk to H about it. The other issue is I always look horrible and don't want my picture taken. But I guess a pic with a disheveled mom is better than no mom if I got hit by a bus or something, you know?
DG it's no wonder you feel that way with 2 little babies to take care of, much less yourself! Maybe try out some black&white pics. If taken right, they can be more forgiving.
