can you get a boot's shaft stretched?
i'll ask the shoe place also, but i just wanted an actual person's opinion before going into a business and have them tell me yes even though it's not a good idea.
please advise TIA.
Re: can you get a boot's shaft stretched?
i bought these, and realized i should ave orderd an extra half size larger from the reviews:

BUT, the foot fits perfectly, i just can't get it over my calf. i need it just about 1/4 inch, and i really Really REALLY love these boots (the style is what i have been looking for, go ahead and mock me. i don't care.) and hate to have to return them when i can have them adjusted to fit properly.
i am going to see what the cost is, then. thank you. for $60 boots, to me it's worth it if it works out IRL.
i don't necessarily *need* a bigger shaft, but when they are too small i have a hard time getting it up (<~~ giggle).
but really, these boots are notorious for their thin shaft, but i love them anyway. if you like the style, they're $60 and would be perfect for your slender calves and tiny shaft needs.
