Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter (or other BM greige?)

Anybody have pics or recommendations of any Benjamin Moore greige? Revere Pewter looks nice on the swatch in the store, but I could not bring it home because they ran out!! (They only had the swatch left underneath plastic).

I have 3 days to pick paint colours for the rest of my house! There is a tax credit that expires Jan 31 in Canada (15% refund on all home renovations incl paint). I want to pick colours for my basement bathroom (I think I have settled on Benjamin Moore Tea Light), my front entrance and my media room. TIA!

Re: Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter (or other BM greige?)

  • Revere Pewter is really pretty.  I've only seen pictures, though.

We've used Going to the Chapel (very very light greige) in our kitchen and are going to use Early Morning Mist in our living and dining room.  I'm also toying with Stingray and Senora Gray for stripes in our powder room.  They're all off the same strip.

  • No pics, but I have seen a lot of nice rooms on here in that color--wich I could remember who.

  • Yay!  I can help with this one!  Revere Pewter is the color our living room was painted by the previous owners.  I found it too light to really feel like a "color."  DH was surprised to hear it wasn't white.  I painted over it in Pashmina, which looks beige on the swatch but much greyer in person.  But, my absolute favorite BM color is my dining room, which is Cotswald.  It's more of a warm beige, but I love it.  I'll try to post pics.

  • Okay, looking at those pictures it's hard to tell the difference between Revere Pewter and Pashmina, but the first two pictures were taken at dusk in full shade, and the next two were taken in full sunlight.  Revere Pewter was lighter than it looks in those pics, and Pashmina is a tad darker.

  • thx so much girls, keep them coming, it is good to see the same paint colours in different lights. I am going to stop by the store on the way home and cross my fingers that they have a Revere Pewter swatch in there today... I have nearly every other swatch, ha.

I was going to recommend Silver Fox, too.  I love that color, but we're going with RL Tudric Pewter because HD had RL paint on sale last week.

actually I have tried finding this!! Do you by any chance know any other names on the same swatch? It seems this colour name does not exist in Canada and I am wondering if it just has a different name for some reason.
  • I used BM Light Pewter and Nimbus in my bathroom (light pewter is the lighter stripe).  Pics here (guest bath).

I love BM Revere Pewter- we have it in all 3 of our bedrooms.  I don't know how to post more than one pic at a time, but here is a photo.

Ha!  It's not that heavy, plus I have a giant purse that I carry a full sized laptop in, so what another pound or two?

You're totally welcome.  I have agonized over paint colors only to not find them at the store so I know how it feels.  I hope you're able to find them!
