My bff is moving next month. I'm throwing her a going away party at a local pub. From 8-10 then we may move on to another bar. Also I am not planning on paying the bill... I bought these to print out and send http://www.target.com/Garden-Party-Bulk-Invitations-50/dp/B001Q96YJK/ref=sr_1_21?ie=UTF8&searchView=grid5&frombrowse=0&node=1038576&keywords=invitations&field_browse=1038576&searchSize=90&id=Garden%20Party%20Bulk%20Invitations%2050&field_availability=-2&refinementHistory=subjectbin%2Ctarget_com_age%2Ctarget_com_gender-bin%2Ctarget_com_character-bin%2Cprice%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Ctarget_com_size-bin%2Ctarget_com_brand-bin&searchNodeID=1038576&field_launch-date=-1y&searchRank=-price&searchPage=2&field_keywords=invitations. Any suggestions on wording them.
Re: need help with wording going away party invites
Cute invites.
In order to be clear that you're not paying, could you say something like
"stop by and buy Jane a going-away drink" or
"Let's treat Jane to Bon Voyage Cocktails"
GL!
"The boxes are packed, it's almost moving day~
Let's all get together to send "Jane" on her way!"
Something like that might work...
