Neti Pot Alternative

I know there are quite a few Neti Pot fans on the board, so I thought I'd post this.  I recently tried Nasaline, which is the same concept except that it's a big rubber syringe-looking thing.  I thought it was much easier to use than the Neti Pot (which I had trouble with tilting my head the right way) -- you just fill the Nasaline with salt water and squirt!  It drains out the other nostril just like a Neti Pot and has the same results.  Just thought I'd share.

We have something similar, although it's not called Nasaline.  But we like it better than the Neti Pot also!

I will have to give that a try...I have some issues with my ears & my dr said the neti pot is probably not the best idea for me, but something more like this would be better.  Good to know...thanks!

The neti pot made me feel like I was drowning, I got nasty pains in the back of my head.

There's the other stuff called Ayr (pronounce Air) that's just a saline nose spray, no medicine, just for moisture, seems to work pretty good too.

I use a saline rinse rather than a neti pot only because that is what my dr. gave me.  I tried it once and it just made my face feel like it got hit by a 2x4.  Maybe I did it wrong
