What are your plans for the weekend??
Re: Weekend Plans?
I want to see if I can convince Carol to go out for dinner tonight.
Tomorrow I have to have a permaent crown put in at 9 am. The dentist on a Saturday seems like a punishment. After I am going shopping for a new cel phone. Mine will no longer hold a charge - I can only use it plugged in. I am not a fancy phone kind of gal so I figure I can get a new one cheaper than a new battery. If Carols mom will babysit maybe we will go to a movie Saturday night.
Sunday is household organizing then a nap before work.

Another weekend with very few plans!
Tonight is make-you-own-pizza night and Wii playing (when we bought it, I wasn't sure that they kids would be able to do it/enjoy it - but they LOVE it (and are pretty good at it) and I would rather they do that for 20-30 minutes in the evening than watch tv since they love the biking one that really gets their arms and heart working!)
Tomorrow sports class - if we don't get snow (they'll close if we do.) No one can predict snowfall - I've heard everything from nothing to 2-4". L is going to go with us since she's never been and Gray asked her to go watch him. One of our friends might come over tomorrow evening with her son and spend the night (the boys have been asking for a sleepover.) After we put them to bed, we'll break out the appletinis and games.
Sunday is open. We talked about getting the kids new sneakers since theirs are getting tight (got a whole 5 months out of them!) and we need to go to Costco
since I didn't get there last weekend.
nothing very exciting for us.
We were supposed to go to a housewarming happy hour at a friend's tonight (w. Sprout going to parent's night out at my gym) but she got sick so she canceled. So, now that means it'll be just a typical night at home - maybe we'll go to the library for a bit...Sprout had a tantrum last night so he didn't get to go for the usual storytime.
Saturday is open. I'm hoping to get to sneak away for a bit to get my hair cut and Andrea wants to test drive some minivans but that would require a sitter so i'm not sure it's gonna happen.
Sunday we have a playdate with our lesbian mom's group in the morning and no plans for the afternoon.
Blogs: Our Growing Family - CT Working Moms

tonight we're just relaxing...it was kind of a rough week.
tomorrow, bathroom demo, some errands, maybe work out (its been a week, eek).
sunday, bathroom assembly
probably an RE appt (should be calling with the CD15 bloodwork soon...uterine lining good, follicles, eh...sigh...this is stressful!), awards ceremony for our college kids.
I am counting down the minutes to our Friday night on the couch. I am so tired and hormonal today, I just wanted C and I to stay in bed this morning!!
Tomorrow C will be at part 2 of the homebuyer class, which will complete our requirement for our mortgage program, and on Sunday she's going to have to work all day.So I am trying to lure my family to come up and visit me for lunch dates on each day, lol.
We probably need to get a couple of things at Target, but will mostly just relax and spend some time together while C is home. The last two nights she's had to work super duper late, so we're looking forward to that. I think we are even going to have the groceries delivered, so we don't have to worry about that (C will have our one car for the class/work on Sat/Sun, so it limits what I can get do in her absence. Side note: I can't wait to have 2 cars again).

Two Mommies Healing Hearts
Just like last weekend, I have a ton of documents to read for work. So I'll be doing that again this weekend. E is sooo excited about the snow, so I hope we get enough to play with/in tomorrow. I
'm really hoping to make it to the farmer's market on Sunday.
I finally made it to yoga this morning, after several failed attempts. Loved it. Now I'm having breakfast and doing PT while I watch True Blood. Jen is working all day so I'm planning to spend the day moving some furniture around in our living room and trying to make it more streamlined and relaxed feeling (kind hard since it is long and narrow and there are only so many positions I can put stuff in).
It's snowing like mad right now so tomorrow's plans kinda depend on the roads, but tentatively we're planning on having coffee w/ a friend in the afternoon, doing some advance scouting on petit fours for my birthday, and then meeting friends to see A Single Man and eat at Mon Ami Gabi - yummmmm!
we're in our friends' wedding in october (i'm in one wedding party and my wife is in the other), so yesterday we went to a dress sale with them. she went in the morning with her bride and the bride's mom and spent a few hours there, then came home and i headed out to meet up with my bride and her mom. they both found very lovely dresses and for really cheap, so that was good. when we were done with the dress shopping part my parents came over to watch monkey while we went to the brides' house to meet up with them and more of the bridal parties to talk about some of the details. it was fun!
today we've been doing laundry and trying to catch up on some cleaning while he was napping, but he's just woken and is eating now, so we'll see how productive we'll be able to be. i've also been working on trying to get some of the HUNDREDS of pictures i've taken of him together to get up on one of the photo sites to share with family.
later today my wife's sister and her gf are coming over. we're all going to go to red lobster for dinner and then come back to our house for some playtime with monkey, and hopefully some cards or games for us grown ups.
i'm not sure what the plans are for tomorrow, but i'm guessing at some point it'll involve trying to get more housecleaning done. it's hard to keep up on with a wee one!
