How is everyone? Anything good brewing for the weekend?

Re: Happy Friday
Happy Friday! I'm doing good today! I'm just about over whatever I had this week--sinus infection, flu, I can't be sure! It seems DH had the flu (for the second time this flu season) so I might have had a mild case. I did feel like I wanted to die several times, but still went to work.
I thought it was allergies and that I needed to suck it up and work! lol
Anyways, nothing big for this weekend. Just relaxing and reading.

Oh, happy to hear you're feeling better!
On my lunch break DH and I are going to see a house we went to last night (to see it in the daylight) and then on Sunday we're bringing our parents to the open house. This is the first house we're interested in, and I'm terrified! Other than that I'm going to be hibernating because it's DAMN cold here.

Feel free to be terrified--it's a huge decision. My realtor said that when you walked into the right house, you would just know. I equated that to wedding dress shopping, and I think I like our house way better than my dress.
Houses are so much more expensive than dresses too. :-/ I'm still not positive I have that "a-ha moment", but it meets all of our requirements and some of "would likes.." The price fits into our budget nicely, and we wouldn't have to do anything really right away or buy any appliances. We've seen 10 houses, which doesn't seem like a lot, so I don't know if I'd always wonder what we missed out on. Ahh.

We're buying the third house we saw out of only seven. But we committed because I realized I would be sad if we waited and someone else bought this house. There's a lot of houses you would love to live in, but it comes down to the house you like the most, in the best location, at the time you go to buy. And don't wait too long and miss out on the $8000.
I hear the inventory picks up in March for the summer selling season, so there's probably a lot coming down the bend.
Happy Friday gals!
Busy day for me = sooo looking forward to the weekend. I'm making a lasagna this morning for our friends that had twins (and lost one baby after a month) to get them through another weekend. Cooking something for them once a week makes me feel less helpless. So. Yeah. Lasagna.
Then some work, then jumping in the car to head to NH for the weekend for my early family/friends-back-home birthday party. I cannot wait to see everyone. I plan on consuming my weight in birthday cake... and wine.
Hope everyone has a great Friday/weekend!
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

Are you sure you're not from the midwest? Although here it would be a hotdish....
Tonight we are going to the open house for BIL's gym. They just finished moving it so we're going to check it out.
Tomorrow we are going to view another apt. and the rest of the time is cleaning house/packing.
Happy Friday!
I'm about to leave the house to go on a training walk for the 3-Day (5.6 miles today). After a bunch of my girlfriends and I are going to scrapbook. I'm working on making bridal shower invitations for my BFF
This weekend is more of the same -- housework, homework/lesson planning, etc. Tomorrow morning I have my "3-Day Getting Started Session" which should be fun/informative, but that's the only thing set in stone.
hahaha. Definitely not. New Englander 4LYFE. And yes I know that technically NYC is mid-Atlantic... technically. I just choose to blatantly ignore that fact.
In my world, when bad things happen you don't talk about them, you just bring food. Lately I've been the queen of casserole. I mean, what else is there that I can do?

It's just funny because that is the first thing people do here. "I'm sorry about ...... here's a casserole." I always teased my mom when she did it but now I find myself doing the exact same thing!
Yayy!! you found something good?? What is it like??? DETAILS!!
We looked at 10-12 houses. Never had really had the "A-ha" moment (but i never did with my dress either). Even after making an offer I still look at listings online just to curb my curiosity of what we may have "missed out on", plus i think its just fun! In my opinion, not one thing has come even close to the one we chose, so it just confirms that our decision was right for us.
Mamie -- good luck with the house!
I've been working from home all day, which usually means, cooking/cleaning but today it truly meant working. I'm so over all these meetings/conference calls I've had lately.
Tonight is date night... happy hour, dinner and a movie.
