I can tell you the radioactive tests aren't as bad as they sounds...the freaked the crap out of me...actually I think I was more afraid of the dye testing than I was of my first radiation tx. 

Ditto.  Just a heads up, you will feel a weird sensation through your body when they inject the dye and/or saline--your entire body will feel warm in a tingly (sp) way.

Thank you ladies, that means a lot.  I'm glad that they are finally doing these tests because I have been beyond frustrated, just the "unknown" is of course scary.  Thank you for the "heads up" and the support.  I appreciate it.

I confess that I am having mixed feelings about one of my new responsibilities at work. I am really enjoying that my bosses have asked to fill in and teach some of our computer classes, just basic intro to excel and intro to word, and even had a student tell me that I should keep teaching because I did a really good job. Today was only the second time I ever taught a class. The problem is I'm covering for a very ill coworker who is fighting cancer and going through chemo. I would love to keep teaching these classes but I feel very guilty for feeling that way. Anyone have any opinions on this one?

I don't think there's anything wrong with enjoying teaching the classes and the want to keep teaching them.  This person has cancer, and apparently can't teach the class.  It's a hole that needs to be filled at the workplace.  Run with it and enjoy yourself!  I'm sure the person with cancer wouldn't hold it against you!

Thanks Karen. It is a little awkward teaching a group of people who are all older than you are, I work for an adult ed agency, but I am enjoying it. I guess the main issue I'm having with myself is my hope that I can continue teaching these classes long term and possibly make it permanent. but should she become well enough to return I would happily turn them back over. A long time ago I considered going to school for teaching but chickened out...self esteem issues...I guess I'm realizing now that I really could have succeeded.
