Those "50 books in 2010" siggies -
Am I the only one who thinks, "Only 50?" I mean, I know I have more time than the average bear, but even when I was working, I could go through 2-3 books in a week, depending on how long they were. (Well, 1 Stephen King, but he equals like 5 regular 200-pagers.)
Maybe it's my light fiction habit, but 50 seems like a low goal.
Re: Those "50 books in 2010" siggies -
I love reading, and go through books really quickly, but I don't have time to read 50 books in a year. I wouldn't get anything else done!
For lightfiction, it does seem low.
If at least a few of them are 'heavy' then it's decent.
I think I"m on 5 so far in 2010 but they were pretty fluffy.
if i didn't have a full time job this would be super easy - as it is i can go through a 500+ page book in a day - i just don't have a lot of time to do so.
I usually go through at least 3 books on a week long business trip - lots of time on the plane or in the airport.
most of the books i read are more than 400 pages
