btw, i am pc hardwaretarded.

remember the other day i asked about modems? well if you don't remember, i asked for recommendations for modems. DG mentioned a wireless adapter.

i was clueless, and totally thought i needed the modem thing, wires spliced, et cetera et cetera.

Dh came home yesterday with a wireless adapter, and gave me my internet in no time at all. i am very lazy when it comes to hardware and electronics, but i am great with software. i guess that's how we compliment each other.

i didn't even want to go online at all. i don't miss it at home. he was all, "but what about your Knot??" how cute. i had to remind him that this is my workplace thing, i rarely go on at home.

but now i can work from home, and i am hoping to request a day or two a week to work from home as a permanent situation. i doubt it'll happen, but it can't hurt to keep it in my back pocket as an option. i *am* requesting a laptop setup on monday, though. i'll get it for my temporary project, but it would be nice to have just in case it goes permanent.

the end.

ps - adurr, i didn't know a darn thing about wireless adapters. i was still thining you buy the modem, take the back of the tower off and stick it in the proper slot. i wanted no part of that.
