I'm thinking about getting Apples to Apples. I've never played it before, but heard it was fun. What do you think?

LOVE this game- it's definitely a must play.  Fun for between 4-8 people.  Really interesting whose sense of humor/ mental pathways are similar when you play with people who could be very different.

We just had a group of friends over last weekend and one brought this. It was a riot!  Love it and want to purchase it this weekend!

I LOVE Apples to Apples. I'm normally not a huge fan of board or card games in any form, but this one is definitely an exception. I always get very competitive, though.

Not only is Apples to Apples the best game, especially for groups of people, you do not have to have any skills what so ever. It is easy. I love playing with newbies because they get so angry about playing to the judge. The game is not serious, but newbies always make it way harder than it has to be. For instance, the topic was inspiration, the newbie put church and another player put Jennifer Lopez. The judge picked Jennifer. The newbie is still fuming over that decision. He did not take into account that the judge really like Jennifer Lopez.

One of the best games EVER, but best played with a large group of people (6 or more).  Another great party game I just discovered is "Catch-Phrase."  I recommend the electronic version.
