Need venue recs for surprise birthday party
Hi,
I'm planning a surprise birthday party for my husband and looking for a place with a large bar north of Boston (i.e. Lowell, Bedford, Tewksbury, Andover, etc). We'll have about 10-15 people so it doesn't need to be a place with a private room, just enough room in the bar and toleration for us yelling surpise.

I do not know to many venues in this area but the Beer works in Lowell is big that could work. I have passed the China Blossom and it is big too.
The Beer Works in Lowell has a seperate dining room too. It isn't often filled. In fact there is a large group of DH's friends that meet there for dinner before hockey games on occaision and we have been seated back there a few times. I'm not sure if they charge to use the space if you reserve it but you could probably use that space if it's not already reserved. Even if that space is not available they usually have enough room at the bar or in the dining area for a large group. The only time it gets really busy is right before a hockey game or a baseball game.
