Making new friends
So when you move to a new area.. where all of your family and friends live at least 30 or more minutes away. Where do you meet new friends who have the same interest as you as your husband?

Well first of all, welcome to the board. I'm Crystal and for another few weeks I'm from Auburn but will soon live in B'ham.
The board is kinda slow but we're hoping it picks back up soon.
As for your question, the majority of the time I've been new to an area was when I was in HS or younger and when I moved to Auburn I already knew a few people but not many. I've found the nest to be a great place to meet other ladies who are married.
