Hi ladies! I know I haven't posted on here very often...and I'm trying to get better about that too-scout's honor!  But DH and I just(officially) found out I am pregnant about a week ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We'd only been trying for a month, so it was kinda shocking. We haven't told our families or really much of anyone yet...so I decided to let you ladies in on the secret as you are all pretty much strangers and its not as anxiety-inducing. I mean that in the best possible way :-P

 

p.s. I feel super-official ever since I made this rad ticker for my posts today.Its the little things in life, I'm telling ya!

I actually went to a neighborhood I've driven through a time or two, stood up through my moon roof (DH was driving 5 mph - tee hee!), and repeated, "I'm pregnant! On our first try!" using a bullhorn. We cranked music-box-sounding tunes to attract the attention of ice-cream-eating fatties. I just had to tell as many strangers as possible, and I wanted a fun story to tell our little bundle of joy.

I'm totally adding a bullhorn to the list of items to purchase prior to TTC so I can be prepared to do this ASAP. Currently, my list looks like this:

6 pack of lube.

Prenatal vitamins.

Sheet with hole in it (to minimize skin to skin contact)

Bullhorn.

What else do I need?

Make sure it's sperm-friendly lube. Stock up now on sweat pants that are four sizes too big. You'll soon be eating for two - possibly more!!!

you can use this as your "Bat-Signal"
