where to recycle batteries?
I was told Whole Foods recycles alkaline batteries but I just went there and they told me they no longer take them. Sooooo I have a bag full of them and dont' know where to take them. Any suggestions?

Google supplied me with the following: http://www.mass.gov/dep/recycle/hazardous/batthous.htm
which lists a phone number for current information on recycling drop off locations and recycling guidelines.

Our city recycling will take them, if we have 'em sealed in a zip-top baggie.
