Need help planning bowling birthday party?
I am planning a bowling birthday party and need some ideas. I already have the invites picked out: see link -
http://www.tinyprints.com/product/7355/personal_stationery_party_invitations_bowled_over.html and the party will mostly be adults with maybe 3 kids around. I wanted some ideas for cute party favors, a unique cake idea, and anything else that would go with bowling. I think we will probably do food and drinks there because they have a dining area and bar in the bowling ally. Any ideas?
Re: Need help planning bowling birthday party?
I hosted a bowling party for my DH's 30th. The only thing I did with a bowling theme besides the invites was that I gave out little bowling trophies at the end. I didn't give them to everyone--just a handful of categories like:
high score, low score, most finesse, birthday bowler (for DH)
Bought cheap trophies like this and printed labels for the categories.

I like PP's trophy idea!
For party favors, how about chocolate cookies in the shape of bowling balls?
Here are some links to cake ideas. For something different, how about the cake in the shape of a bowling jersey with a team logo on honor of the birthday boy/girl.

For other decor items, Oriental Trading has a ton of stuff. I think sticking to a black, white and red color scheme would be nice.
