New Hampshire Nesties
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

Kind of a sensitive topic. TIA for reading.

Typically, I would not post anything like this here. However, given that I receive no benefit from this, I feel comfortable posting in case anyone out there would like to support my DH and I in this endeavor.

I am C&Ping the email that I sent to our close friends and family. Thanks in advance for reading. Both DH and I appreciate any amount that you can donate to a worthy cause.

On Saturday, November 1, 2008, I will participate in the Boston Area Lung Cancer Walk/Fun Run to benefit LUNGevity Foundation and I am asking you to support my efforts. As many of you know, Matt's father was diagnosed last year with lung cancer and underwent surgery to have one lung removed. Unfortunately, his surgery and subsequent treatments have been unsuccessful. However, Matt and I remain committed to this cause and to trying to make a difference for the future, even if it means walking .8 of a mile at 9 months pregnant!

Every dollar that you contribute to the LUNGevity Foundation brings us one step closer to finding a cure for lung cancer. In fact, each dollar that LUNGevity grants will fund more than $1.25 of the most promising research at the top research facilities. Founded in November, 2000, the LUNGevity Foundation is the leading private provider of research funding for the number one cancer killer.

It is faster and easier than ever to support this cause - you can make your donation online by simply clicking on the link at the bottom of this message. Thank you for supporting this important cause. Please forward this on to anyone else who may want to donate. Your help means the world to us.

Warmly,
Heather
