Just got home from an appt with my OBGYN...even though I'm only 27 weeks, he said I'm measuring at 34, or a bit over. 34!!! Until now it's only been 4-5 weeks ahead, but now we're up to 7! Suddenly I don't feel so bad about whining about how hard it's getting to get out of bed, etc.
He was totally on board with my quitting work at the end of this month and said that he thinks it would be virtually impossible for me to keep working physically after that point...I'm soooo glad I saved up enough vacation and sick days that I could leave before my maternity leave starts in April!
I've taken photos of my enormous bump, but I have to edit out the polterwang before I post one (I love these yoga pants, but they do some seriously freakish things in the crotchtacular region).
ETA: Here it is:
Re: well THAT explains a few things
Glad you can stop working at the end of this month. You deserve it mama! Pregnancy with a singleton is hard enough, I can only imagine the stress two babes put on your body. BTW great bump pic!

wow measuring 34 wks?! did i ever tell you? i used to always say that i wanted twins - one girl and one boy - so that i could get the whole PG, L&D, etc done in one fell swoop.....well, once i saw how hard it was for my small frame to carry just one baby towards the end of the 3rd tri, i was thankful that i didn't get the twins i originally wanted!
hang in there, and take it easy once you are on leave... enjoy the peace and quiet before the pirates arrive
