I agree with you on the taxes thing, but it's not like she spends a full 8 hour work day on her blog, so it technically comes out to more than min wage. If she only spends 2 hrs/day on it, it comes out to $21/hour (assuming she spends every single day on it, which she didn't because of the kid getting sick.).
Does she say what she spends that money on?
That's it, I'm coming up with a crazy persona and taking pictures of my house the day before I clean it and I'm going to make a fortune.
