My mommom had a heart attack Friday night and is in the hospital. This morning she went for an echocardiogram and then was rushed straight to the cath lab for a cardiac catheterization. She had open heart ten years ago and we are hoping she won't need it again. I work for cardiac surgeons and know she is in good hands but it's still pretty scary stuff. So if you have any to spare, please send your thoughts and prayers that she will be OK.
Update - My mommom doesn't need surgery. Her old bypasses were fine. She does have some vessels that are severely diffused, but treatable with medication. They are concerned about some breathing issues going on and they are consulting a Pulmonary doctor. So thank you so much for the T&P. My family and I are so happy that she doesn't have to go through open heart again.
