Hey Girls!!!

Ladies...how I've missed you.  I'm back at work.  This is actually my 3rd week EEK!!!! I'm most of your friends on FB...that's where you can get the pictures of Isabella.  Btw, hope you haven't forgotten about me :( Mrs.Rod b/c I've definitely been MIA.  Sorry!!! Anyway...plan to be on here MUCH more now that I'm at work.  Hope you guys have a great Monday (they usually suck).

Re: Hey Girls!!!

  • Hey Lady! How are things working out with work and your new schedule? Have you got little Miss Izzy on a routine? I'm trying to start one with Benjamin. He still eats every 2-3 hours even at night! We're co-sleeping, but I'd like to get him used to his crib soon. Miss you lots!

  • Hey Ginny...things are eww!! Its a work in progress.  Of course some days are better than others.  She's in a routine now.  And it goes great as long as she naps well.  If she doesn't then OH BOY do we have issues at night.  We did co-sleeping and some nights still do.  I actually do it more for me than her.  There is nothing better than smelling her at night.  I've gotten her use to coming into our bed in the mornings.  I know this is a bad habit but it's great!!! LOL the three of us cuddle and relax.  I love it!! When do you return to work?
  • Yeah....we haven't figured out naps yet. Some days he goes 6 hours without one! I like the idea of bringing the baby to our bed if he wakes up at night...of course first he needs to get used to the crib. I believe Im headed back to work the last week of March. So only 8 weeks left. Such little time to sleep train my little guy. Just a few more hours til you go home. :) DH was out of town for 3 days, home for one and then gone for another 4 this past week. I was counting down the minutes til he got home - so challenging to be completely on your own. I give tons of credit to single moms. Speaking of naps, this is attempt #3 since 1pm. ;)

  • Just keep trying.  At some point he'll get it. LOL!! But give it a good 2 weeks of strict schedule and boy will he be good.  That's what I did with Isabella at 8 weeks I started her on a strict schedule (I know a bit early) but it worked.  At 10 weeks she was good.  You should give it a shot. See how it works.  But you definitely need to be strict...I know its difficult with breastfeeding but maybe if pump & bottle feed it would help.
